"This is my story back to self love that Andrew helped me with.

So I read Andrew’s book, and maybe a week later, I started noticing sabotage patterns in my mind.

Which then took me out haha.

I couldn’t sleep much—I tried everything to make the thoughts stop looping.

Every time I found peace in my heart space… the loop would go again, and even more difficult.

I messaged Andrew and told him about the looping and despair.

He asked all the right questions!

(Mind you I had already tried Googling all of this and nothing was helping me.)

He told me my mind is fighting back because it’s uncomfortable for the brain.

That made me feel so much better because he said that that shows progress in and of itself!

Then he explained: “If you’re afraid to feel your emotions, your brain sabotages them. This goes back to childhood.”

He told me that sometimes the catalyst for change is pain, and that staying the same and refusing to let myself just be, is what was destroying me.

Over the next few days, I learned about emotional regulation… inner child healing… subconscious beliefs.

I learned about being mindful and being in the present moment.

And now? The sabotage patterns show up… and I don’t even want to choose them anymore.

When they come up, I just dismiss them.

And with practice, it’s gotten so much easier. The pull to follow those old programs ends up getting weaker.

I’m opening up now.

And that is BEAUTIFUL.
